This is a strange signing. He has been on the bench, and played, for Portsmouth this season, a bench that is not full due to lack of players.

We didn't take up this signing earlier

We have midfielders sitting on our bench struggling to get on, JJ, Shroot to name but two.

Some cover for the defense seemed a higher priority to most supporters

Extra competition for the midfield. Probably needed to add a defender really as well though.

I dont think anyone would rate jeffers that much after his short appearance on saturday.
His vision was shocking when all he had to do is play low in and we'd have wrapped the game up 4-2.

I saw him when we played brentford ,had a poor first touch in that game and got knocked off the ball easily,he did
score but he couldnt miss.......hes not what we're looking for in my opinion, and also agree a striker is still needed in on loan. Not writing him off completely as hes a young lad and might take a while to settle in, however from what i have seen in the minutes he has played he doesnt seem to have the ability to cut it just yet.

Have you changed your mind yet ?

According to the official site this was our first Football League win over Burton which I find rather odd as I am sure I was at the Pirelli Stadium last season to witness a remarkable 6-5 victory and I have the dvd to prove it.

What is it with matches between Cheltenham Town and Burton Albion?

Mark Yates's men again left it late to come from behind and record their second win of the season at the Abbey Business Stadium this afternoon.

The home side were far from their best, but they showed plenty of character to eek out an unlikely win - their first over this opposition in the Football League.

he has joined cirencester on a month's loan. he is a mile off our first 11 at the moment and this loan with help him develop as a player.
