Well done to all the Wymans last night

I'd bet a year's wages that there wouln't have been half the atmosphere in the C & G last night if it wasn't for all us.

(of course it's a shame about the hostility towards us from a certian few, but never mind..!)

C'mon Cheltenham!!!!!

Please tell me which dickheads these were?  Because about 15 of my best mates were in the wymans part last night and i told them NOT to sing because it was stupid, arguing between eachother.

Did the Wymans have to go in the C&G? No we didn't. but we did to help improve the atmosphere. We went in there with the best intentions.

Whenever we sang, a small group kept trying to sing over us, there's no need. Join in or leave it alone. However we still sang their songs with them.

One lad sang "we're the wymans over here".... he awaited a "we're the c&g over here". However, we got a chorus of booos and then "the wymans are gillies" followed by a few gestures. At half time i was made aware of threats thrown at a few lads, by this point the majority were pissed off. We didn't come in for this. But your right the Wymans are far from perfect and maybe a few insults were thrown back, i know i was certainly pissed off. It was clear we wern't welcome.

I know just about all there is to know about the wymans, i recieve emails from some in the C&G who hate us with a passion. These emails began along time ago, occasionally they still crop up. Some of the looks i get could kill. Is this normal then? All we want to do is sing on our side, that's what we're all about.

I had a few emails today from C&G regualrs who were disgusted at other c&g goers.

I wonder if some dont like us as they feel we've taken some of their limelight away. It's ridiculous.

I've emailed all the Wymans in hope we can put this to bed.

Can someone actually explain why the C&G hate The Wymans. It seems irrational, pointless, and utterly stupid.

How dare someone come into 'their' stand and make a noise and not want to kick off with stewards.
